Rev. Vincent L. Cyman, 76, attended Canisius College, Buffalo; and Christ the King Seminary, St. Bonaventure University and was ordained on June 8, 1919. After serving as an assistant pastor at St. Adalbert, Assumption, St. John Gualbert and St. Valentine churches, all in Buffalo, he was named pastor of St. Joseph Church, Holland.

Later Father Cyman was pastor of St. Rose of Lima, Forestville and St. Stanislaus and Holy Trinity, both in Niagara Falls. He retired from his final pastorate at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, North Tonawanda a year before he died.
